- We take active steps every day to reduce our environmental impact: Energy, water, and heating use is kept to a minimum – we’re switching to LED lighting throughout the hotel.
- All our laundry is handled by Rikstvätt, certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
- We also use 100% organic cotton in all bed linens. Only eco-certified cleaning and paper products are used.
- We follow WWF’s seafood guide when selecting fish and seafood.
- Organic and locally produced ingredients are prioritized whenever possible. Our main supplier, Martin & Servera, meets strict environmental and sustainability standards.
- Our chefs work creatively to minimize food waste.
- We sort all waste and constantly strive to improve our recycling routines.
- Whenever we can, we repair instead of replacing, and often shop second-hand.
- We aim for digital processes and only print when necessary.

- Supporting our community and contributing to local development is close to our heart.
- We collaborate with local businesses and tourism operators to support the regional economy.
- We promote sustainable outdoor activities in Dalsland, such as cycling and hiking.
- We inform and inspire locals about the benefits of tourism – including a broader range of services, more jobs, and increased income for the area. To strengthen year-round tourism, we create tailored seasonal packages.
- We offer fair working conditions and have a collective agreement in place.
- Our workplace embraces diversity and equality across all ages and genders.
- Through our own initiative, “Ekorrehjälpen”, we support families in Åmål facing financial hardship – with free holiday meals, gifts, and grocery vouchers.
